Clubbing in Finland

The WEEKEND - coincidentally coincided wif my 1st mth in finland!

Firstly, fri night we went ice-skating at this place in Helsinki - Brahe field. It was ok, more of trying to pick up the basics after a lengthy hiatus in skating and also trying to guide aya along the way but still it was pretty fun although the time was short.

Sat was MArika's housewarming party.. initially me kei n aya were the 1st arrivals and there were several cancellations from her finnish friends but as the night wore on, the exchange students came and livened up the place, of cos wif the aid of alcohol! Bailey, vodka, bombay london gin, daiquiri and beer.. almost everyone was high and zm whole nite still keep trying to guan zui me.. apart from the 5 sg ee pple, there was bob, wu zhe, his china fren, kohsaku, aya, kei, kohsaku's finnish fren who speaks real fluent japanese, elina and her fren and tat was all. The decor was really nice, marika's owner of the house (cos she is juz renting this place wif her bf) realli took care of decorating the whole place.. got washing machine in toilet and dishwasher too!

After the initial ice breaking and the subsequent drinking, we tried this PS2 game called singstar pop. it is somewhat like DDr or o2jam but it has 2 microphones instead.. where they score you according to your pitch and timing of your voice in accordance to the lyrics.. it helped a lot that the songs were ones tat i was familiar wif.. robbie n kylie's kids, hoobastank's reason, beyonce's crazy in love, kylie's in your eyes, keane's somewhere only we know, mcfly's obviously.. damn fun haha i qie all of them lor.. bu kui shi spore idol.. after a crazy session of foto taking, everyone was damn high so we decided to go clubbing.. zm brought the sled over too so we tried a bit of high speed sledding down the steep slope of marika's house b4 we went to this club at 130 am.









it was at Sello's and it was called Fennia.. Cover charge was 6 euros, cloak fee 2 euros, it was damn happening.. quite a number of pretty angmoh gals too.. but wif our pretty gals elina, her fren n marika, we also attracted quite a bit of attention.. guys kept coming up to dance wif them! not to mention our yan dao kaijun.. it was so-so music and it helped tat we listen to NRJ radio and also went to the awards cos' they played Darin's songs, Akcent and Hung up too..

















We grooved to the music til the club closed at abt 4 am.. then glasses were smashed ard the place and the ang mohs made their last burst of fire to get lucky.. u shd have seen us sg guys becoming the body guards..

after that, the last remaining survivors went back to zm's and marika's place to sleep.. i m typing this in marika's place and it is 550 now.. 15 mins to the 1st bus home! pics 2 be updated once i get home n get a hangover.. my yummy american bf after i reached home!
